A.  Alabatrite is a stone-based material which can be intricately molded producing great detail, and will allow paint to adhere.  These items may be cleaned by dusting, however, they should not be washed with water as they are painted with water soluable paints.
B.. Fiberglass is a material made from extremely fine fibers of glass.  It is used as a reinforcing agent for many plymer products; the resulting composite material, properly known as fiber-reinforced polymer.
C.  Polyresin is a resin compound generally used for statues, figurines, and decorative furniture.  It is a sturdy material that can be intricately molded, allowing a great level of detail with consistent texture.

[Q]  I am concerned about giving my credit card information.  What about security?
[A]  Security is a concern with all internet sites in this day and age.  However, we at the Yard Art Studio make every effort to keep secure your credit and personal information.  Your order is encrypted (as noticed by the locking symbol) and we participate is several measures to enhance your protection, for example Verisign. 

[Q]  Do you only take PayPal? 
[A.] No.  Yard Art Studio takes a variety of payment options.  It is NOT necessary to open a PayPal account. However, it is one of the payment options if you have a PayPal account.   

[Q] What is the time limit on your returns?

[A.] Our return policy is 100% within 15 days of the shipping date.  This is for products that are received with damage.  When this occurs, please take a picture of the product and email it IMMEDIATELY.  You will obtain a Return Authorization Number (RAN) from the Yard Art Studio (You must have this RAN) for a return).  We do not accept unsolicited returns. All orders returned, for other than damages will be charged a 25% restocking fee plus shipping.

[Q] May I send you a personal check?
[A.] NO.  Our banks tells us that out of state checks may still take 4 weeks to clear, so we return them to the sender rather than put a hold on the order for 4 weeks. We suggest that customers use their credit cards.

[Q] How often does your website/merchandise change?
[A.] Generally, we only change our website for changes in products. This includes various product price reductions and sales, new products, or discountinued products.

[Q] How do I know how much my shipping will cost?
[A.] UPS Ground is our default shipping.  Shipping is calculated based upon the cost of your order.  All orders are charged a shipping of $8.95 minimum or 12% of the cost of your products (whichever is GREATER).   Products are ONLY shipped within the continental US.   Currently, we DO NOT ship to Alaska or Hawii

[Q] How long does it take to get my order?
[A.] That depends upon the location of the order.  Generally, orders are packaged and shipped with 2 business days of receiving the payment for your order (although this may take an additional day the transfer usually occurs the same day as the order).  Within 7 days, your order will be shipped   "AFTER", UPS has picked up the order, the delivery time takes from 1 to 5 business days for ground.  You can check the "Tracking Order Page", using your order number to monitor the process of your order.
    

[Q] How do I get in contact with you if my question wasn't answered in the FAQ?
[A.] We offer a variety of methods to contact us at the Yard Art Studio.  They are all listed in the section "Contact Us".   However, the best method to ask a question is to email us. 

[Q] Do I need to pay sales tax?
[A.] NO.  You will NOT be charged any sales taxes on any orders. 

[Q] Do you guarantee that I will like the merchandise that I pick out?
[A.] NO. How could anyone legitimately guarantee that.  We believe our products are high quality and described completely so that you should be aware of the products that you order.  If you do not like your product, please refer to the process for returns.
